In the article strategic objectives, tasks and economic feasibility of attraction of foreign investments are considered, strong and weaknesses of their different types are analyzed, need of development of a package of measures for protection of Russian economy against excessive inflow of short-term investments is shown, recommendations about improvement of regulation of foreign investments from the state are made.
