The author points out that all changes that took place in the demographic development of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) have led to a significant reduction of the population and labor forces, caused by the persistent human migration outflow. The migration of population is strongly influenced by the life conditions, the opportunity to receive a good-quality education, to get a good job, by the way of life, a well-developed social infrastructure, and transportation access to the vital settlements. The paper points out that the development of a regional program of migration management, the organization of a system of migration processes monitoring, research of the issues of the migration behavior and the foreign migrants' socialization will improve the migration situation in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). In recent time, due to the changes of the needs of the region's economy in the workforce and shortage of qualified personnel, the problem of human migration has acquired even greater relevance. The article presents the findings on the manpower resources reproduction. The paper considers such components as the change in the number of inhabitants, and it makes an analysis of the age structure and the causes of migration. The article describes the growing role, which acquires the foreign labor migration in the regional labor market development. The author makes a conclusion that the labor migration continues to play an important role in the regional labor market replenishment.
