Describes a methodical approach to assessing institutional network development of the banking sector in the region. Define the Bank's regional network and classification of banks depending on the specifics of its formation. Researched and stages of development of regional banking networks and regional strategies for banks. Using multivariate classification assessed the institutional network development of the banking sector in Krasnodar Krai and developed recommendations to address the prevailing asymmetries in the siting of Bank institutional units.
