Micro-entrepreneurship is typically characterized by high degree of risk especially at the initial level of its functioning. The Russian economic science and business practice lack general theoretical clauses about business risk and methods of its appraisal in micro-entrepreneurship. Features of realization of the phenomenon of micro-entrepreneurship predetermine necessity of development and justification of technical approaches to appraisal of competitiveness of open social and economic system results of research of which this article is devoted to.
