Perfection of management of economic development requires substantiation of selection of managerial decisions for which purpose the authors developed the model of areas of economic responsibility on the basis of maximization of the index of specific output for factors of public convenience. Activity in society may be represented in the form of several areas of economic responsibility, power, business etc. The suggested model of economic areas of responsibility possesses great flexibility and adaptability combining abilities of accounting of different economic structures and strategies of public development.
