The given work regards the process of evolution and perspectives of the mathematic method in economics, which are connected with the new branch – economic synergetics. Development of this branch reguires the newers mathematic approach. The article gives the author’s classification of the corresponding mathematical methods, analyses the advantages and shortcomings of formalism in the economic theory.
