Subject. Development of the energy sector, financial burden on electricity consumers. Objectives. Developing a model that helps increase the efficiency of spending for local network organizations. Methods. Logical and statistical analysis. Results. It has been found that implementing a benchmark method for regulating electricity transmission tariffs will help improve the quality of power supply, and the process of setting tariffs will become more transparent. Conclusions. The research results can be taken into account when implementing energy policy at both the national and regional levels.
