Personnel security in an agro-industrial holding: Industry classification of risks related to negative informational impact and a system for managing such risks
Subject. HR policy at large companies, managing information flow, making management decisions. Objectives. Developing recommendations for ensuring an organization's information security, taking into account the economic risks associated with using various communication channels. Methods. System analysis tools were applied. Results. To counteract negative informational impact, it makes sense to create a two-level hierarchy within the agro-industrial holding. At the operational level, there could be a center for monitoring and analyzing information threats, and at the strategic level – a committee for information and personnel security, responsible for reviewing reports on the most significant incidents. A number of regulations have also been developed, according to which measures should be carried out to minimize or neutralize information security threats. Conclusions. The study results can be used within vertically integrated agro-industrial holdings to minimize direct financial losses. The economic impact shows up in reducing operational risks, optimizing costs, and protecting intangible assets.
