Subject. Adaptability as a critical condition for the survival and maintenance of the competitiveness of an economic entity. Objectives. Definition of the characteristics of a transport and logistics system capable of operating effectively under conditions of high uncertainty. Methods. System analysis, structural-functional modeling. Results. A model of a multi-level transport and logistics system has been developed. The physical level represents the material basis of the system, the digital level serves as a link between physical reality and management decisions, and the management level includes systems and procedures that ensure the transformation of information into actions. Conclusions. The modernization of the transport and logistics system requires a shift from traditional management, focused on cost minimization, to management focused on sustainability and reconfigurability.
