Subject. Transformation of industrial spatial systems, convergence of digital and financial technologies. Objectives. A comprehensive analysis of the essential characteristics of the emerging digital-financial industrial system, identifying its internal contradictions and consequences for the territorial development of Russia. Methods. Tools of systems, comparative, and institutional analysis were applied. Results. It has been empirically confirmed that the phase of initial implementation of basic automation tools has been completed in Russia. It has been established that currently there is a transition to the stage of deep integration of digital ecosystems; however, the share of Russian technological solutions used in the manufacturing industry remains critically low. Conclusions. In the foreseeable future, the competitiveness of Russian enterprises will be determined not by resources, but by the ability to operate within digital financial-industrial ecosystems.
