Subject. The application of artificial intelligence technologies in the context of combating crime. The impact of economic crimes on the level of economic security of the Rostov Oblast. Objectives. Development of initiatives for the prevention and minimization of economic crimes. Methods. Econometric analysis. Results. Unique risks have been identified related to the safety of the agro-industrial and transport-logistics sectors of the economy of the Rostov Oblast. Calculations showed that there is a statistically significant negative relationship between investments in fixed capital and the level of economic crime in the region. A unified regional analytical platform architecture has been developed, which integrates data for the assessment of anomalies and risks. Conclusions. The research results can be taken into account when developing measures to prevent economic crimes and when forecasting the development of the region's economic sectors.
