The impact of the COVID-19 crisis on the dynamics of per capita gross regional product in the Chechen Republic and on average across regions of Russia

Subject. Ensuring the balance of the sectoral structure of the regions' economy, the problem of increasing the level of technological development in Russia.
Objectives. Analysis of the stability of the economic system of the Chechen Republic and Russia as a whole during periods of crisis related to the coronavirus pandemic and the processes of post-crisis recovery of various industries.
Methods. Tools of mathematical analysis have been applied.
Results. In the Chechen Republic during the coronavirus pandemic, the greatest decrease in the cost of produced products and services occurred in the construction industry. The greatest resilience to the crisis was demonstrated by sectors such as agriculture, manufacturing, as well as education and healthcare.
Conclusions. The proposed calculation method can be used to assess the resilience of various sectors of the economy to large-scale crises.
