Subject. Risks arising in the context of rapid development of digital technologies and globalization.
Objectives. Development of recommendations for strengthening Russia's economic security and that of its regions in the context of digital transformation.
Methods. System analysis tools were used.
Results. An analysis of international experience in ensuring cybersecurity has been conducted. It has been established that strengthening the country's economic security in the context of active digital technology development will be facilitated by improving the legislative framework, developing innovative information protection systems, and creating an effective threat monitoring system of various kinds.
Conclusions. The implementation of the proposed measures will ensure the sustainable development of the country's economy amid the rapid changes in the digital landscape.
