Methodological tools for assessing the financial development of Russian regions

Subject. This article discusses the issues of balanced regional development, and considers resource support for regions as the main factor of economic growth.
Objectives. The article aims to develop an algorithm that can help determine the financial situation of a region taking into account various criteria.
Methods. For the study, I used a mathematical analysis.
Results. The article presents an author-developed methodology for assessing the financial situation in regions, which takes into account the regional budget parameters and the financial condition of economic entities.
Relevance. The proposed methodology can be used by public authorities of various levels when developing and adjusting economic and financial policies, as well as by investors when assessing the investment attractiveness of regions.
