Subject. This article discusses the economic inequality between the regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan and considers it as a factor contributing to the labor resources outflow and increased social tension. Objectives. The article aims to analyze the tools used to eliminate interregional disparities in the Republic of Kazakhstan and assess their effectiveness. Methods. For the study, we used the general scientific research methods. Results. The article presents certain practical recommendations focused on modernizing infrastructure, increasing the accessibility of social services, and developing the non-resource sector of the economy. Conclusions and Relevance. The development of transport and energy infrastructure improves the investment attractiveness of regions and the quality of life. Diversifying Kazakhstan's economy will contribute to strengthening the country's transit potential. The use of the proposed tools can attract private investment, reduce the dependence of economic entities on State funding, and improve the quality of life outside major cities.
