Subject. This article discusses the issues of modernization of housing and communal services and centralized water supply system. Objectives. The article aims to analyze the tariff policy in the field of water supply. Methods. For the study, we used the general scientific research methods. Results. The article finds that the existing water supply tariffs are ineffective and unfair, which is related to the impact of production scale on competitiveness. Conclusions. There is a need to transit to regulatory pricing in the industry to improve the efficiency of legal regulation.
