Subject. This article discusses the peculiarities of the interaction between individual public organizations and governmental authorities and business, as well as the economic aspects of the revival of Cossackdom in Russia. Objectives. The article aims to justify the possibility of considering registered Cossack Military Societies as modern organizations, on the basis of which innovative developments can be implemented, funded through the application of venture schemes. Methods. For the study, we used a regression analysis. Results. The article identifies a dependence of the changes in the indicators of the registered Cossack Military Societies' assets on the increase in investment volumes in their activities. Considering the Cossack Societies' practice to create agricultural enterprises, it can be argued that the application of promising ultrafine particles in crop production and animal husbandry can serve as an innovative technology financed through venture capital investments. Conclusions. The results obtained can be used in the current activities of the registered Cossack Military Societies, as well as by government authorities in justifying the funding of non-profit public organizations.
