Subject. The article discusses the problems of modernization of agriculture in the Republic of Tajikistan. Objectives. The article aims to analyze the impact of new technologies on production processes in agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan. Methods. For the study, I used the general scientific research methods. Results. The article finds that in a hot climate and water shortage, drip irrigation technologies are the main factors in increasing yields. Conclusions. The article concludes that land restrictions should be considered as a threat to economic freedom and national security.
