Subject. The article considers the impact of digital technologies spreading on the most important sectors of the economy. Objectives. The article aims at the analysis of prospects for construction industry development related to the digitalization process. Methods. We apply methods of comparative, logical analysis. Results. The study determined that the level of digitalization of the construction sector has a steady upward trend. The use of software tools enables to increase productivity, reduce transaction costs of projects, and minimize the number of errors during work performance. Data sets processing with the help of digital technologies creates conditions for rational and effective decision-making. Conclusions. Digitalization is an inevitable process that affects all spheres of the society. An important strategic goal of the introduction of digital technologies in the construction sector is to reduce the time of project implementation.
