Subject. This article discusses the issues of formation of industrial and territorial markets.
Objectives. The article aims to analyze the regional specifics of the formation of consumer demand, considering construction- and furniture production-related industries as a case study.
Methods. For the study, we used the methods of logical and statistical analyses.
Results. Based on the analysis of statistical information from open official sources, the article substantiates the influence of such factors as consumer demand, dynamics of economic and spatial development on the development of the furniture industry. It summarizes and systematizes the problems of development of the construction industry and the furniture industry in the Krasnodar Krai.
Conclusions. When developing measures for State support of business, the region's spatial development priorities should be taken into account.
