Subject. This article discusses the importance of the tourism industry for the economy of the Republic of Tuva.
Objectives. The article aims to analyze the prospects for improving the quality of tourist services and assess the implementation of tourism development programmes in the Republic of Tuva.
Methods. For the study, I used a comparative analysis.
Results. The article finds that tourism is one of the most actively developing sectors of the economy, it is characterized by low investment risks, and the creation of tourism clusters is the main direction of development of the service sector in the Republic of Tuva.
Conclusions. The results of the study can be taken into account when developing tourism development programmes in various regions of Russia.
