Subject. This article analyzes the housing conditions in the peripheral region.
Objectives. The article aims to assess the differentiation in providing the population of the Amur Oblast districts with housing and analyze the implementation of the national project Housing and Urban Environment.
Methods. For the study, we used a comparative analysis.
Results. The article reveals areas of concern and challenges to the implementation of projects on housing and urban environment in the Amur Oblast and offers certain recommendations to solve the problems encountered.
Conclusions. The results obtained can be used by the regional and local authorities to implement the national project Housing and Urban Environment.
