Subject. The sectoral structure of the economy of the Siberian regions. Objectives. Study and analysis of the regional economic potential. Methods. Applied general scientific research methods. Results. The expediency of diversification of production in regions with a single-industry structure of the economy is substantiated. Thus, the production of interior doors is expedient in the Republic of Khakassia, since product has a stable demand, production is environmentally friendly, while the proximity of the production base to the consumer helps to reduce the cost. Conclusions. The development of small enterprises in the regions of Siberia will contribute to their sustainable development, the growth of GRP, and the improvement of budgetary, social and environmental efficiency.
