Subject. This article discusses the prospects for economic growth in the Chuvash Republic.
Objectives. The article aims to analyze the economic relationships between the Chuvash Republic and the Volga Federal District regions.
Methods. For the study, I used the methods of statistical, neural network, and cluster analyses.
Results. The article finds that the retail turnover indicator is the most significant for the economy of the Chuvash Republic. The largest lag behind the regions of the Volga Federal District is found in construction and the manufacturing industry.
Conclusions. The most important objective of the federal and regional authorities is to ensure the sustainability of economic growth of both the Chuvash Republic and other regions of the Volga Federal District.
