Subject. This article focuses on the issues of choosing the outbound tourism destinations in the context of economic sanctions.
Objectives. The article aims to analyze travel itineraries and trails, the development of which is possible in the new political realities.
Methods. For the study, we used analysis, synthesis, generalization, induction and deduction.
Results. The article finds that the tourist resources of China, Vietnam and Mexico can contribute to the development of outbound tourism.
Conclusions. The article concludes that despite the sanction pressure, the opportunities of Russian outbound tourism are quite good, and the tourist industry has something to look forward to.
