Subject This article discusses the issues of development of the social and innovation vector as a key task for the Russian economy.
Objectives The article aims to classify the methods of economic evaluation of social and innovation activities.
Methods For the study, we used a systematization method.
Results The article shows the relationship between the subjects of social innovation and the functions they perform. The existing methodologies for evaluating the effectiveness of social innovation usually affect one of the functions to be implemented. The article presents systematized social innovation assessment methods available in scholarly literature.
Conclusions The social and innovation development vector implementation requires a comprehensive application of methods of economic evaluation of social innovation. The systematization of methods and their relationship with the features of social innovation help prevent their inefficiency during the planning and implementation phase.
