Subject This article examines the factors influencing the efficiency of innovative development of resource-type regions and reveals their specific peculiarities.
Objectives The article aims to carry out a complex original study of the factors of innovative development of resource-type regions of the Russian Federation considering the Krasnoyarsk Krai as a case study. As well, it intends to develop a qualitatively new classification of the mentioned factors.
Methods For the study, I used the methods of logical and statistical analyses.
Results The article presents a developed classification of factors of innovative development of regions, taking into account the specificity of raw-material orientation at the federal and subnational levels.
Relevance The offered classification helps determine priority directions of regulation of innovative activities taking into account a significant role of State management at the regional level.
