Subject The article discusses the issues of vertical restructuring of the construction holding company during a financial and economic crisis. Objectives The article aims to develop an enterprise model to analyze its vertical structure. The paper considers the use of the S3 method to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the industrial holding. It assesses the feasibility of vertical restructuring of the construction holding company at a time of financial and economic crisis. As well, the article aims to suggest options for the most effective vertical restructuring at the enterprise. Methods For the study, I used the S3 method that combines systems, synergistic and situational approaches. Results The article presents possible options for the most efficient reorganization of the enterprise during a financial and economic crisis. Conclusions and Relevance The availability of in-house capacity in the structure of large industrial holdings reduces production costs and in some cases, it may help yield additional profits. A significant factor is the volume of activities, which is the basis to calculate the feasibility of vertical integration. The results obtained may be of interest to the management of large industrial and, in particular, building development holdings to reduce costs during a period of financial and economic crisis and to improve the financial performance of the company.
