Subject The article discusses the issue of evaluation of social security infrastructure management effectiveness of tourist destinations at all company-to-regional ministry levels.
Objectives The paper aims to define a matrix of key variables that describe the level of development of the regional infrastructure of social security. Using the DEA-analysis method, the paper aims to identify the areas with the most productive social security infrastructure management in relation to the tourist industry in the region, and determine the optimal structure of the situational characteristics of social security infrastructure of tourist destinations.
Methods For the study, I used the DEA-analysis method and public statistics.
Results As a result of the DEA-analysis and open statistical data, I identified the most effective social security infrastructure management systems in the regions of the Volga Federal District.
Conclusions The DEA-analysis allows defining a vector of search for constructive solutions to optimize the management of social security infrastructure of the region, implement the monitoring functions and elaborate plans for future development.
