Socio-economic situation in the Kaluga oblast and Krasnoyarsk Krai in the context of implementation of the program for sustainable development of Russian regions
Subject The article deals with the issues of development of investment in the real sector of economy and introduction of innovative programs in different areas of production in the Kaluga oblast and Krasnoyarsk Krai. Objectives The paper aims to show possible ways out of the crisis for regions with underdeveloped economic potential. Methods Our own method of evaluation of the competitiveness of the RF constituent entity is based on the allocation of blocks of development indicators of economy, finance, social affairs, investment. The analytical apparatus technique involves identifying the strengths of the region under study and their performance. Results We present certain findings of the study on the socio-economic situation in the Kaluga oblast and Krasnoyarsk Krai. Conclusions The Kaluga oblast and Krasnoyarsk Krai are boosting the development of investment in the real sectors of economy, and they are steadily introducing innovative programs in different areas of production. In the Krasnoyarsk Krai, investing is more intensive than in the economy of the Kaluga oblast.
