Social confidence in higher education of the Belgorod oblast: an empirical analysis

Importance The article considers the ways of forming social confidence in the system of higher education of the Belgorod oblast as a factor of effective University management.
Objectives The paper aims to reveal the specifics of trust relationships in the social space of the University and to justify its role in the development of regional higher education.
Methods We used a system approach and methods of dialectic knowledge.
Results We present the results of the research that justify the role of social confidence in the development of regional higher education.
Conclusions and Relevance We conclude that the horizontal kind of trust at the level of departments dominates in the social space of the University. The results of the survey can be used to expand the tools of higher school management, as well as in the formulation of programs aimed at the development of regional higher education.
