Importance The article considers the problem of State support for agricultural entrepreneurship in recession of the Russian economy.
Objectives The study aims to determine the extent of the impact of Government support for agriculture on various indicators of activity of agro-industrial business, and develop certain effective-support measures for agricultural enterprise.
Methods In this work, we used a system approach, comparative and statistical analyses, and hypothetical-deductive and analytical methods.
Results We have determined the degree of impact of public support to agriculture on the various indicators of activity of agro-industrial business. We propose certain effective measures of State support for agricultural enterprise.
Conclusions and Relevance We conclude that the current State support for agricultural enterprises is imperfect. The study results and proposed measures shall be useful for new Government policies to support agriculture.
