Importance The article deals with some issues of education. This sphere is the most vulnerable and the least funded one among the other areas of State regulation. Objectives The paper aims to research the market of educational services, taking into account the description of factors influencing the development of the educational system of Tuva. Methods We identified the relationship between the market of education and labor market and considered the indicators of educational services in the Republic of Tyva, on the basis of monitoring and gathering facts, as well as analysis, synthesis, and system approach. Results We identified certain negative segments of the market of educational services. We found that, in fact, this market does not meet the needs of the population in specific kinds of educational services at various stages of their production, which include preschool, primary general, basic general, secondary (full) general and higher education. Conclusions Without taking into account the specific, as well as the situation in the region in educational environment, it is impossible to adequately explore other markets, because this segment is the base of the formation and development of other sectors of society. Thus, the quality of the educational services market predetermines the further development of an economic entity, i.e. regulation of the market of educational services in practice should be under public control in conjunction with the operation of the mechanism of self-regulation.
