Importance The article considers the issues of using crowdsourcing in addressing social and public tasks in the Altai Krai.
Objectives The paper aims to determine directions of use of crowdsourcing to solve State and social objectives in the region; develop methodological approaches to assessing the effectiveness of using crowdsourcing; offer crowdsourcing types of projects that can be implemented in the region.
Methods For the study, we used the abstract-logical, structural, and functional analyses.
Results We identified crowdsourcing use areas to address State and public objectives in the region, and we propose certain types of crowdsourcing projects. As well, we have developed methodological approaches to the assessment of the effectiveness of use of crowdsourcing in Government administration.
Conclusions We concluded that the advantage of crowdsourcing is the ability to attract a large number of stakeholders to address various public tasks, and crowdsourcing is a real tool to improve social life by people themselves.
