Solution to the problem of energy saving requires the implementation of energy audit at the Russian enterprises. The article presents the results of a study of energy saving in Republic of Mordovia, one of the fastest growing regions of the Russian Federation. The authors conducted a complex marketing research of the energy audit market. The authors analyzed the organizations of Saransk in the energy survey. The paper evaluates the organizations' satisfaction with the quality of services of energy service companies, and it justifies factors influencing the choice of an energy auditing company.
