The article notes that, in view of the critical state of the housing and communal services of Ukraine the problem of financial security of modernization of housing and communal services has become a priority. The paper considers methods of financing that can be applied in the sphere of housing and communal services and conditions of their successful realization on the basis of foreign experience. The author makes a conclusion that successful use of forfaiting, concessions and privatization are quite possible with support from State and local government institutions.
