To determine the main directions of investment development of livestock industry in the Ryazan region, the author considers in detail the specific features of functioning of agricultural producers of various organizational-legal forms, their specialization and efficiency of production, which varies considerably depending on the natural-economic zones. Taking into account the territorial aspect of the development of agriculture in the region the author identifies the natural economic zones to differentiate between attractions of investment resources in the livestock industry.
