The article covers the matters of innovation development in agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Dagestan. The article shows the main problems constraining innovation advance of the branch in the present. The author considers a role of the state in management of innovation processes. As well, the author offers certain measures necessary to stimulate innovation activities in the agricultural sector of the Republic of Dagestan.
