Currently, many well-known companies, including electronics manufacturers, create ecologically clean products, realizing the appropriate programs in the markets of the developed countries. In Russia, companies the like are not energetic enough in their ecological activities. The authors by polling public opinion tried to find out how topical the ecological factor is for a Russian consumer in the present situation, and what impact on a consumer choice it has. The authors came to the conclusion of a Russian consumer's negligibly small care for the matter of environmental responsibility of a manufacturer and ecological compatibility of products.

Keywords: eco-innovation, eco-production, ecological activity, ecological image, LOHAS-segment, carbon footprint, consumer research
