The authors study the condition of agricultural production in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, the influence of economic reforms on the efficiency of farming. The article presents the analysis of the beet-sugar sub-complex of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic's agrarian and industrial complex, the ways to improve its efficiency by use of the principles of interaction marketing and creation of strategic associations.
