Municipal level of monitoring: problems of information support and practical application

In the article relevance of the complex analysis and monitoring of social and economic development of municipalities of subjects of the Russian Federation is proved. The role of municipal statistics for adoption of administrative decisions by local governments is shown. Sources of formation of information database and problem of obtaining timely detailed information on a state of the social and economic sphere of municipality are considered.
