In the article the methodical approach to an assessment of appeal of business activity in the sphere of a pond aquaculture from a position of small enterprise as subject of small business is considered. The offered approach allows to reveal strong and weaknesses of conditions of business in the region taking into account risk and to define the possible directions of development of business activity in the sphere of pond fish breeding.
