In the article key parameters of implementation of transformations of economic space in interests of innovative development of regions are considered. A number of the principles which have to be implemented when developing the program of spatial transformations of the region most important of which is the principle of the differentiated spatial policy is revealed. The approaches to formation of a complex of necessary spatial transformations for regions different in the social and economic characteristics are offered.
