In the article social and economic development of the Chechen Republic in 2010-2012 are investigated. The character and level of development of the region in recent years are shown. The main problems on a way of development of the Chechen Republic are revealed. On the basis of the system analyses of development of the republic conclusions and offers which can be used at a choice of the optimum package of measures, capable to bring the Chechen Republic to a way of dynamic development are drawn.
