Regional innovation system (RIS) in the regions of pioneer economic development of natural resources

We study the possibility of applying the concept of regional innovation systems in relation to new areas of natural resources. It is shown that in the course of the economic process arise and develop elements of territorial innovation system. It is proved that the phenomenon of regional innovation systems are not unique to metropolitan areas, as it is basically set out in the foreign papers. Particular attention is paid to the specific features of the regional innovation systems pioneer type.
