In the article innovative vectors of development of the enterprises of agro-industrial complex of edge are considered; classification of innovations in the agrarian and industrial complex sphere taking into account nature of innovative processes is developed; level of innovative activity of the industrial organizations, including the enterprises of the food industry is studied, and also key stages of a sustainable development of the food market of the region are allocated.
