In the article the territorial problems of social and economic development of the region, a problem of geopolitics and environmental management, geo-ecology are analyzed. The questions of purpose of a natural ecological rent as element of a rational sustainable development of territories in the Republic of Dagestan are considered. The author's option of a natural ecological rent in the concrete region is offered.
