In the article the questions related to the selection and the systematization of the problems affecting the ecological-economic situation of the territories are considered. It is proposed the author's classification of the factors of regional sustainable ecological and economic development. The analysis and synthesis of such factors is the starting point for the greening of the Russian economy.
