In this article, the internal and external factors affecting the development of the regional consumer market with the changes in the characteristics of elements forming the structure are defined. The factors influencing the change in the structure of supply and demand, as well as the territorial organization of the trade network and logistics system in the region, and the determinants of the level of competition, pricing policies and the level of availability of consumer demand are revealed.
