In the article the place of conception of self-developing social-economic systems is considered in a line of similar economic categories. Criterions of self-developing regions are validated and computational technique is given. Regional classification according to type of economic growth is made which is based on dynamic of GDP analysis and financial flows of Russian Federation regions over a period of 1998-2011.
